Formerly known as Muslim World BIZ, OIC World BIZ is a high-profile event globally recognised as an efficient, powerful and effective business networking platform for governments, corporations, international investors, industry players and entrepreneurs from all over the world to explore together opportunities in joint ventures, investments and trade in the global Muslim business world. 

This one-of-a-kind trade event is organised by OIC International Business Centre (OICIBC) and in cooperation with Islamic Centre Development of Trade (ICDT), Association of Arab Universities and Federation of Arab Businessmen. The OWBIZ receives full support from the Government of Malaysia and Islamic Tourism Centre. Hundreds of international delegates from OIC nations take part in this annual event.

Comprising two components – exhibition and conference – the event is established with the mission of enriching borderless economy in mind. It seeks to enhance intra-trade among Muslim countries by boosting economic development, encouraging competitiveness in the global Muslim marketplace and empowering and accelerating trade investment within and beyond the Muslim business world. Among the event’s highlights are discussions on Global Islamic Tourism and Heritage. The OWBIZ aims to explore these prospective industries while identifying and unleashing new opportunities at the same time.

The OWBIZ is envisioned to be the biggest conference and exhibition event in the region by 2015 and the biggest in the world by 2020. With a commitment to be the nerve centre for the global Muslim business community, participants are likely to gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of current trends and issues in the world of business and investment.
