Islamic Tourism Centre (ITC) is a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLBG) under the purview of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), tasked to develop the Muslim-Friendly Tourism and Hospitality (MFTH) ecosystem in the country.
With the expected growth of the Muslim tourist market potential, ITC is poised to play a bigger role, positively impacting the nation’s tourism, hospitality, social, and economic landscape. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team in this leadership/managerial position to help steer ITC forward during these exciting times.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Malaysian citizenship
- A recognised bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in a business development, industry relations, or industry development role
- Excellent organisation and leadership skills with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
- Knowledge of the tourism/hospitality industry and the halal landscape
- Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills in Bahasa Melayu and English
- Well-versed in IT and other spreadsheet applications
